Spring Fling in the City is all about love of vintage, love of handmade and love of local. It’s an event inspired by times past, where old is new again and everything has potential.
It will feature local vendors selling vintage clothing, vintage accessories and vintage home decor, as well as vintage-inspired handmade items.
For the children of the ’80s, a video game lounge featuring our favorite Mario Bros. games will be projected onto a big screen inside The Firecracker Press’s new Old North space, which will also host a spring-inspired photo booth.
The Vincent Van Doughnut and Seoul Taco food trucks will be on hand to serve the masses with local fare, as well as neighborhood eateries Crown Candy Kitchen and La Mancha Coffeehouse. The ReTrailer will be serving up its delicious teas, and you’ll also have the chance to shop local Old North businesses, including vintage/resale boutique Closet Repeats, Rambles Gift Gallery & Boutique and Therapy Boutique.
Come find some unique treasures (and that last-minute Mother’s Day present!), eat some good food and celebrate the spirit of revitalization!
