On August 11, grab your sweetheart, grab your friends, and get ready to enjoy a date night under the stars of the James S. McDonnell Planetarium to learn about the Perseid Meteor Shower and our nearest neighbor in space – the Moon. This is a 21+ event.
Your evening will include a live Planetarium star show, a special showing under the stars of the classic film Ghostbusters (1984), complementary snacks, and a cash bar.
Romantic and mesmerizing, the Perseid Meteor Shower puts on a beautiful display each year, while the Moon provides wonder and awe throughout the year. Come learn how you can view the celestial show, and why it happens.
