| We’ve talked about it! Now let’s do it! Our first CASH MOB has been set for this Friday and Saturday, September 21 and 22, 2012!A CASH MOB is a group of people who commit to making a purchase at a local business at a specified time in order to create an immediate economic stimulus and demonstrate support for the business. It’s a great way for us to positively impact a local business that has invested in our community.
Our first CASH MOB will support locally owned, Home Eco, a green general store l ocated at 4611 Macklind Avenue. Check out their website at www.home-eco.com.We are asking participants to spend $20 at Home Eco during the 24 hours beginning at 4 pm on Friday, September 21, and concluding at 4 pm on Saturday, September 22. Home Eco typically closes at 6 pm on Fridays but will stay open until at least 7 pm on Friday, September 21, to allow us to execute this event. Home Eco will be open its typical hours on Saturday between 10 am and 4 pm. We’d love to see as many people as possible swing by around 6 pm on Friday evening, and we’ll gather next door at the Mack after making our purchases for some celebratory drinks.
