Saint Louis Zoo’s 27th Annual Run/Walk
Sunday, May 20, 2012

Participants in the 5K and 1-mile race will receive a disposable timing chip for more accurate results.

7:30 a.m.* 5K Race/Walk: 3.1 mile loop course; accurately measured; splits at one and two miles. Walkers begin after runners. Timed and competitive.
8:50 a.m. 1/2-mile Kids’ Run: ages 7-12, first 1/2 mile of 5K course, untimed, non-competitive
9 a.m. 1/4-mile Kids’ Run: ages 6 and under, untimed, non-competitive
9:10 a.m. 1-mile Race: ages 12 and under, first mile of 5K course, timed and competitive
Note: No dogs, rollerblades, bikes, skates or skateboards permitted on courses.
*Runners must begin by 7:45 a.m. and end by 9:05 a.m. to count in official results.

8:30 a.m. to 12 noon Family activities located in Schnuck Family Plaza and surrounding areas. (See below.)

Location

Start/finish near Kiener Memorial gates of the Zoo, corner of Washington and Government Drive. Free parking is provided on the Zoo’s North lot (closest to Art Museum) before 8 a.m. on race day.
