Multicultural Family Fun Day at Missouri History Museum 2/7/15 begins at 10 am
Explore the special exhibit The Missouri Immigrant Experience and enjoy a day of interactive learning about other places in the world.
10-2 Explore the museum’s galleries and go on a scavenger hunt to find unique objects from around the world.
10-2 Make-and-Takes: Kids can use a rich variety of materials to create art projects inspired by Chinese, Russian, Haitian, and Indian cultures.
10:30-11:00 Cultural Kaleidoscope Storytelling: Join us for colorful stories about people around the world! Storytelling is best for children ages 2-7.
11:45 OR 12:45 Families can enjoy a 30-minute interactive music workshop with professional guitarist Farshid Etniko. Farshid will tell his personal story of moving to the United States and play several musical traditions including Latin, Gypsy, Jazz, and Middle Eastern. There will be an opportunity for children to participate as well!
