Here’s everything that you need to know about ‘How to HOP’ for 2017:
**Doors open at 11 a.m. and the tasting will take place from noon to 4 p.m. with limited tasting tickets available
**We’ve added tons of shade to the festival grounds
**We’ve doubled our seating area (50 picnic tables this year) and will have several “cocktail table” barrels
**We’ve reformatted the tasting layout to allow for more space and easier line flow
**We’ll have more beer of each style available for the limited amount of tasting tickets sold
**LOCAL MUSIC: The best of STL bluegrass, blues and funk bands set the mood for this year’s music line-up:
11am-Noon: The Foggy Memory Boys
12:30pm-1:30pm: Loot Rock Gang
2pm-3pm: Jon Bonham and Friends
3:30pm-5pm: Funky Butt Brass Band

Tickets are available here (www.HOPintheCity2017.eventbrite.com) for $35 in advance and $40 at door. Be sure to buy the limited amount of tasting tickets early!

Throughout the year, the team at Schlafly brews a ton of different beers. We set aside one day in September for you to come enjoy a plethora of these delicious brews in one place…HOP in the City returns on Saturday, September 16 at the Schlafly Tap Room (2100 Locust Street). HOP showcases our passion for all styles of beer – 40 styles and 6 specialty tappings to be exact. Join us to sample everything from hopped-up IPAs and wood-aged beers to traditional ales and lagers.

As a new tradition that began a couple years ago, Founding Brewer/Gong Master Stephen Hale will be ringing in several of our specialty tappings with his variety of costumes. Enjoy live local music and a special menu of festival fare from our brewpubs.
