Star Clipper is proud to be the drop-off location for the Zombie Squad’s Comic Book Drive for St. Louis Children’s Hospital. On Saturday, August 10th from 10 am until 6 pm come to Star Clipper and donate your unwanted back issue comics to benefit the patients at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

The first 100 people to donate 3 or more comics will get a Free Ice Cream from the Delmar Loop Ben & Jerry’s. Also, the helpful volunteers from Zombie Squad will be raffling off prizes all day including Free Root Beer from Fitz’s, cool Capcom T-shirts, and the grand prize; a gift certificate worth $230 for Pinup Bowl, courtesy of Blueberry Hill.

Star Clipper will offer 10% off any purchase to customers who donate during the event. If you don’t have any back issues you want to donate of your own, then purchase any 3 comic book issues from Star Clipper that day to donate and we’ll also offer 10% off on your purchase.

Any donation of 10 or more comics will be eligible as tax deductible; Zombie Squad is a 5013 certified non-profit group.

All comic books donated will go to helping kids escape the pain and trauma of their illness, if only for 28 pages at a time!
