Brightside St. Louis’ “Blooming Soon!” sale
It’s never too early to start thinking about the blooms of spring. See the selection we’re offering to help make your gardens a little brighter next year.
Proceeds will help support Brightside’s cleaning and greening initiatives that make St. Louis a better place to live, work, learn and visit. Our bulbs are sold at prices comparable to wholesale. After you make plans for your gardens remember that Brightside bulbs make great gifts for family, friends, neighbors, schools and community gardens.

Orders will be available for pick up at the Forest Park Greenhouse on Friday, October 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Carlton Daffodils
This fragrant yellow large cup heralds the return of springtime in St. Louis. As seen on St. Louis’ highways, daffodils are particularly striking when planted in abundance.
Will grow 14-18″ tall. Plant 6-8″ deep and 6-8″ apart in full sun or light shade. Blooms March – April. Bulb size: 14-16 cm.

Hybrid Darwin Tulips

Allium ‘Purple Sensation’
The earliest of the large-flowered alliums, ‘Purple Sensation’ with its 4-5″ violet globes and thick, bare stems will become a focal point in your garden. Great cut flower, too. Rabbit, squirrel and deer resistant.
Will grow 20-30″ tall. Plant 5-6″ deep and apart in full sun. Blooms late April – May. Bulb size: 12+ cm.
