84% of Americans believe purchasing a home is a good financial decision
This survey found that 84 percent of Americans believe that purchasing a home is a good financial decision, the highest since 2007.
So where do you start?
- Talk to a Realtor! Find out more about your area markets from a Realtor®. How quickly do you need to react to be able to get a house under contract? What information do they have for you on how to start looking?
- Get your financial house in order. Talk to a couple of lenders about what mortgage programs work for you. There are a lot of programs out there so its more choices than you thought there would be. Get the best deal for you! Ask about Veteran programs, first time home buyer programs, grant money and first responder programs.
